Wow! I haven't written in like, three days! Whoo. I haven't written any storylines forever either. I'm out of practice! :(. I thought of a new one though. A girl living in the 16th century has the dream, of one day, being an actress in the Lord Chamberlain's Men. Keyword, "Men". And, as we all know, women certainly did not act in plays during the 1500's. So what is she going to do? She's marvelous, and when she shows up at the Globe for an audition, she wows everyone, but they still don't allow her to join the players. So, the obvious happens. She dresses up as a boy, and they find her perfect for the job, since she's so feminine and can play any women's part, you know? But life is hard, she soon realizes, being both a boy and a girl at the same time. That sounds weird, but you get the idea. And then someone finds out her secret, blah blah blah, it gets all complicated. You know. Anyway. I haven't even begun writing it yet, but I'm semi-excited about it. I need to research a lot about Shakespeare and stuff before I begin, though. I know a lot, but not enough.
Tuesday, I hung out with Caitlin and Leah, and that was fun. We bought a notebook that's sort of our official notebook now. We call ourselves the Power of Three. Those who have seen the show Charmed know what I'm talking about ;). I'm Prue, Caitlin is Pheobe and Leah is Piper. Yep :).
Then last night was the lock-in. I won't decribe it too detailishly (I made it up, okay? Shakespeare made up words.) We got there. Then we sat in a circle and talked about ourselves, with many awkward comments from Doug throughout the pow-wow. Then we had a scavenger hunt. I was on a team with Gwen and Caitlin. We kind of failed. We had to find something that was made in Japan. No luck. I wrote, "Made in Japan" on the bottom of my flip-flop, but it didn't fly. We watched half of Wall-e. One of my favorite lines from that movie (other then the many "Eeeevehhhhh"s and "Waaaleeee"s) is said by the Captain, who's yelling at Auto. "I don't want to survive! I want to live!" It's just interesting. You realize how very different those two words are, even though they may sometimes be defined as the same thing. We then went karaoke-ing. I didn't sing anything, but it was fun listening to other people :). We got back to the church, finished Wall-e, did very secretive and undercover things which will not be mentioned here, and played Sardines. By the end, we were all sleeping on our feet. We went to Ihop and barely made it out of there awake. Albert drove us home, and I slept past noon. I'm still exhausted. So. Tired. But not enough to resist writing in my blog for another day :).
Better go. Time to eat dinner. Spaghetti. So excited! Peace :)
