Ah, the Christmas season.

The Christmas Waltz, by Frank Sinatra. I adore this Christmas song :) I especially like the line, "It's that time of year when the world falls in love" It's such a true statement. I love Christmas time! :D Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. Also, Frank Sinatra's voice is one of my favorites. It's so wonderful! It makes me smile when I hear it. Anyway, look it up, because it's very good. :) Thank you Lord, that we have the Christmas season to love and enjoy!

I think there's something interesting about Christmas that I haven't mentioned yet. Christmas is a time where we celebrate Christ's birth. Christ's birth, along with his crucifiction and resurrection, are the most important events in history. Without them, we'd still be having to justify ourselves for the thousands of sins we commit all the time. So shouldn't we, as Christians, be enjoying Christmas for the reason of praising God for his son's birth? Not just for the season of Christmas?

Yeah. Christmas isn't actually when Christ was born; in fact Christmas was originally a pagan holiday. That doesn't mean we can't celebrate Christ's birth at that time. Along with considering Christmas a time to celebrate God's birth, I also consider it a time of thanksgiving, happiness, and praise towards Christ for allowing us a time of year where the world falls in love. Everyone likes Christmas, and sometimes, we don't even understand why.

Christmas is a time for celebration, joy, hope, peace and love to spread around. Not just celebration with each other, but celebration with God. I know, sounds kinda soppy, the whole love and peace thing. But it's the truth. Christmas makes you feel all that. It makes you realize things. Christmas is magical, if you'd excuse the reference (magical in a C.S. Lewis kind of way, not a J.K. Rowling kind of way). God allows it to be that way, and for that I am thankful.
