Geez louise! I didn't realize it had been this long since I last wrote.
I've had braces for more than a month?! :D Just one month closer to getting them off!
Okay. So, I'm about to post something that everyone, at one time, posts in their blog. And this lyrics.
I wrote them a while ago, and it isn't the same without the melody. And I haven't finished them. Hah. But here they are, all the same. I've thought of a title... Irrevocable. Though it'll probably change. As will the song, over time :)
Love, from them, is given with a touch
and Love, from them, isn't all that much.
Love, from them, is just the wrong impression
and Love, from them, is desire and obsession
The people of this world
Who try to hide their shame
Who have no where to run
And depend upon false claims
And oh, they cry out
Silently screaming
Why did I fall?
Was this love at all?
And oh, they cry out,
The echo of dreaming
A disquise all along
The end of the song
Love, from them, is unfair fault and blame
and Love, from them, is the fire without the flame.
Love, from them, is foolish simplicity
and Love, from them, is crafty duplicity.
The people of this world
Who want security
Who need someone to hold
And to scatter obscurity
Chorus
[insert rockin out interlude here]
Love, from God, is given on the cross
and Love, from God, is the healing of all our loss
Love, from God, is the quenching of our thirst
and Love, from God, was bestowed upon us first
Love, from God, is indescribable
and Love, from God, is truly incomporable.
Irrevocable.
:) I want to make the verses about God's love a LOT more passionate, but I couldn't think of the right words to describe it. So I used indescribable ;) (Which is an oxymoron, by the way. The word "indescribable" is an adjective, which is used to describe. Yep.) Anyway, I'm still working on the lyrics... and the melody seems to be missing something, which I need to work on. I wanted to write about something more meaningful than just lovey-dovey stuff. So, I wrote about love; the false love of this world, and how all it is is the desire for acceptance, flirtation, and comfort. And then there's the love of God, which is so incredible, I can't put it into words! I'll try harder, and possibly make it sound a little better. Anyway, gonna get off now. Toodle-oo.
